After graduating from the Colorado Institute of Art with Best Portfolio honors, Mark Nelson earned a living as an illustrator. He has since shifted his artistic focus to painting abstract geometric forms in pursuit of “a contemporary sublime.” Nelson’s work has been placed in a number of regional and national collections and has been displayed at the Museum of Contemporary Art | Denver and Gallery 1261.
